Lawn Maintenance:
Fertilizer Program- We offer a 5 application program consisting of granular fertilizer along with spraying of weeds if needed. We only use premium grade fertilizers with no phosphorus. An organic fertilizer program is also available. Slow, constant feeding of the lawn is what we provide. Landgreen Lawncare is licensed and certified by the State of Michigan.
Insect and Disease Control- Grubs and other insects can devastate a lawn. The Japanese beetle has infested many lawns on the west side of Traverse City. Identifying the problem early on is the best solution. We can apply a preventative application to avoid injury to the lawn. Chinch bugs, winter cutworms and sod webworms are just a few of the insects we have dealt with.
Mowing- We mow most of our lawns on a weekly basis. The mowing height is adjusted depending on the time of year, weather conditions and customer preference. We trim areas not reached by the mowers and blow off all walks and drives to maintain a neat appearance.
Seasonal Clean-ups- Starting in early spring, we begin cleaning all lawns of leaves and other debris. This is also when we dethatch lawns if needed. Fall clean-ups are done in the month of November along with the cutting of perennials. All debris is hauled away or left on the curb if located in the city.
Bagged yard waste collection- Are you tired of disposing of your own yard waste? For as little as $15 we can haul it away for you! No more trips to the dump with a car full of clippings and leaves. Call us at 929-8700 or send us an email at landgreenllc@charter.net. All we need is your name, address, phone number, and number of bags. 1-7 bags is $15. $2 for each additional bag. Please no man-made materials or pet waste. All debris is composted and recycled.
Bed Maintenance:
Tree and Shrub Pruning- All deciduous and evergreen shrubs are pruned at the proper time of the growing season. Hedges are trimmed twice per season or as needed. Trees are pruned to maintain proper structure along with removal of dead and dying branches.
Mulch Installation- We can install several types of mulch in any quantity. The most popular is hardwood, but pine, cedar and dyed mulches are available. Large quantities of mulch are applied with a blower truck.
Weeding- Weeding of beds can be done on a weekly or monthly basis to keep them looking clean. An application of pre-emergent is recommended to reduce weed growth.
Mechanical Edging- For those beds without plastic edging installed, we can keep it maintained with our mechanical edger. It is quick and effective.
Snow Removal:
Snow removal is a service we take great pride in. We specialize in parking lots that have high traffic and demand a safe environment for customers and employees. We will create a service specifically for your needs based on business hours, liability concerns and budget. We apply salt to lots and deicers to the sidewalks. We plow residential drives and private roads too.
